This second-generation Falcon has a rare Sprint package that was only offered for two production years (1963-1965). Like most cars in the 1960's, there were inexpensive base models and pricey top-of-the-line series. In 1964, the premier variation of the Falcon was the Sprint Convertible, of which just 4,278 were built out of a total production of 18,108, according to Ford records. The Sprint package gave the Falcon the Fairlane's 260 V8, a stiffer suspension, and a louder exhaust. 1965 was also the last year the Ford Falcon Convertible was produced.
This 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Convertible is powered by a strong rebuilt 289 CID V8, paired with the original “Ford-O-Matic" 2-Speed Automatic transmission. The exterior of this beauty is done in stunning red paint, paired with a white functioning convertible top, and complemented by a red vinyl interior. Options on this 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint Convertible include AM/FM Radio, Automatic Convertible Top, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, Raised White Letters, and Racing Wheels.
