The pony cars of the 1960s were meant to be affordable and compact, with performance kept in mind during the creation of their highly-styled image. This one has been restored and modified into a glistening vessel of raw muscle, packaged wonderfully in a sleek stance and finish, resulting in an ultimate street or strip machine. The added bonus of pro-street builds is that despite being highly-competitive on the quarter mile, they remain street legal, with functioning headlights, brake lights, and turn signals. Under the hood is a fresh full roller 489 c.i. Chevy big block, equipped with Bowtie heads and H-beam rods, with only 200 miles and no track passes on the rebuild. Its backed by a Ford 9" rear end, 4.30 ring gear race spool, and Turbo 400 transmission. Inside is a 12-point, NHRA-certified cage, ceramic coated fully polished custom-built aluminum floor plans, and racing buckets with five-point harnesses. For shoes, the car is equipped with Kuhmo Power Star 758 165/80R15/87 T front tires, and huge Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro 51x18.50x15 rear tires, with custom-built American Racing wheels. Other options include: vinyl interior, radial tires, tinted windows, B&M shifter, 15-gallon fuel cell, rear-mounted battery, racing tach, and Autometer gauges.
