Vinyl Interior1964 Pontiac Catalina for sale in the Detroit showroom. This Pontiac Catalina “wide-track†hardtop is on its second owner with documentation. Included is a magazine article by the original owner talking about picking out the car and a later restoration which was performed. This 1964 Pontiac Catalina received a frame on cosmetic restoration in 1991 by the original owner at 83,700 miles. The car was stripped and fully repainted the original Aquamarine Iridescent color from Pontiac, as well a motor refresh and new upholstery inside. The body is all original with only new paint, no fillers or fiberglass anywhere. During the restoration the motor was pulled and cleaned up, it was built to near factory spec save a new cam and the heads being reworked to run on unleaded gas. The Catalina currently has 99,411 miles, the paint looks fresh and the 389ci Pontiac V8 runs great. This 1964 Catalina would make a great weekend or even daily cruiser. Car has a couple modern touches to add to reliability such as an auxiliary electric cooling fan under the hood, as well as the addition of oil pressure, volt, and engine temp gauges. Comes with some service records and documentation for recent work including a transmission rebuild at 85,000 miles, and new alternator, battery, brake master cylinder, brakes lines, brake wheel cylinders, and front end refresh. The last of which was all done in 2012. Original options all work and include AM/FM radio, chrome hub caps, power brakes, power steering, seatbelts, white wall radial tires, heat, cloth/vinyl interior, 389ci v8, 3 speed automatic trans.
