For sale in our Detroit showroom is this head-turning 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 tribute. These split-bumper Camaros are becoming increasingly popular, so don't miss out on this chance to own this mean, green, street machine! Following the success of the iconic 1969 Camaro, the second-generation Camaro had big shoes to fill, especially since a convertible option was no longer available, but this '71 was built to impress. If you're looking for a performance-built muscle car that is still a driver and show-worthy, then look no further than this beautiful 1971 Chevrolet Camaro. This Camaro was recently treated to a complete frame-off, rotisserie restoration, new sheet metal, and a monster of a motor, and as only been driven 900 miles since! Coated in a bright rally sport green with white stripes, this Z/28 tribute car will make you the center of attention at shows, but also packs a punch under the hood. Speaking of performance, this street machine has a built 454 big-block roller motor, bored .030 over, displacing a total of 460 cubic inches. This big block is equipped with some of the best performance parts money can buy, including aluminum AFR heads, March brackets, and Even though this Camaro puts out an estimated 600-650 horsepower, it was still built for stop-and-go traffic and highway driving, with a Champion 3-core radiator and dual thermostat-controlled electric fans to keep it cool. Putting the power to the ground is a turbo 350 automatic with a Transgo shift kit and a B&M ratchet hammer shifter. Continuing back, there is a custom driveshaft, leading to a 10-bolt Posi rear end with 4.11 gears, so if the stunning exterior doesn't get you enough attention, a nice smoky burnout will! Rolling stock consists of Mastercraft Avenger GT tires mounted on American Racing Torque Thrust wheels. On the inside, this car features black vinyl bucket seats, and a custom carbon fiber Autometer gauge cluster. Options on this car include: AM/FM radio with CD player, power brakes, power steering, tilt wheel, seat belts, vinyl interior, and raised white letter radial tires on aluminum/alloy wheels. If you want a show car built as a performance machine, then don't miss out on this chance to own this piece of Motor City muscle. Located in our Detroit showroom, this Camaro can be seen in greater detail, including HD photos and video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com, or call (313)-982-3100 for more information.
