1953 MG TD

For sale in our Detroit showroom is this beautifully restored 1953 MG TD convertible roadster. This 1953 MG is a stunning little car with only 46,369 original miles and less than 20,000 miles since being restored in the 1990’s. This MG retains its original numbers matching 1250 cc 4 cylinder engine as well as the original 4 speed manual transmission. The MG had some restoration done which includes being repainted once and the engine was completely rebuilt as well, the exhaust was replaced with a new stainless steel system, a new fuel pump, all of the hoses have been replaced, and a new carpet was installed. This beautiful little MG roadster has amazing looks as well, British Red exterior gloss which is set off by the polished chrome trim screams classic style. The interior looks classy as well with the combination of the red vinyl and black carpet and the real wood dash with chrome trimmed gauges. The manual convertible top is black to match and in pristine condition as well, and when the top is down which will probably be just about all of the time, you can use one of the two included tonneau covers one which is a full cover and the other half cover that can be used while operating the car. This MG with the looks and performance will be a real big hit at the car shows and no doubt will have countless people coming to ask what exactly is this beautiful little car?
