One of the most iconic shapes of the late 80’s and early 90’s, this prancing horse is ready to leap into the stable of your collection. The most distinctive feature of the Testarossa is without a doubt the air intakes running nearly the entire length of the wheelbase. These were more than just a visual statement though. Air was channeled in through these scoops and through the dual radiators. That air was then directed up and out through the bonnet, eliminating the need for an aerodynamic rear wing. Testarossa translates from Italian to “red head”, and one peak under the bonnet will show you why. The distinctive red valve covers hide the DOHC valve train for the flat 12 cylinder 4.9 liter engine, which comes to life with a howl that is distinctively Ferrari. To help preserve the fuel system and engine of this Italian classic, the current owner only runs Sunoco race fuel. Move inside the cabin, and you will welcomed by a beautiful multicolored leather interior. There is a custom sound system installed behind the seats that is wrapped in leather to appear stock. In the center, the AM/FM stereo receiver is hidden behind a leather door to maintain a clean factory look. The Rockford Fosgate amplifier is cleanly mounted in the front truck, and one could be excused for thinking that it came from Maranello that way. With only 20,600 miles, this Ferrari has seen less than 1,000 miles a year.
