The Volkswagen Bus Platform was way ahead of its time when introduced back in 1950 and continued to be a favorite for decades. They are simple, easy to work on, economical, with great ground clearance and unmistakable styling. Now, they are sought after and appreciated by enthusiasts. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. This is a right-hand drive truck that was imported from Cape Town South Africa. This truck lived its life on the farm, then was restored about 5 years ago before it was imported. The frame was coated with undercoating and seems to be solid. recently around $2000 was spent on the front end and brake work. We just took it on a test drive and it drove great. This Double Cab has a 4 spd that shifts great. The VW 1600CC Flat 4 Engine fires right up and runs well. Steering is tight. You will get more honks and thumbs up than nearly any vehicle. It's super fun and easy to drive.
