T-TopsGateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present this amazingly restored 1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 Y84 Bandit Special Edition. Bought by the current collector 10 years ago, it was Restored by the previous owner from Arizona. self-described, This Firebird is so clean You could almost eat off the bottom of the car. When the previous owner got it, he completely disassembled and cleaned every seal, bushing, nut&bolt, bearing, and body bushing was replaced. The front subframe was blasted and painted and all new a-arm bushings installed. Original 4-speed was inspected a received new synchros. The New Hurst shifter is nice and tight. Original Disc brake rear end was rebuilt with new gears and all new bearings and seals. All new U-joints. All new springs and KYB shocks. The original 400 is long gone, but who needs 220hp when you can have a late 60's era 428 YH block was completely rebuilt with 40 over Keith Black pistons, pushing easily 400hp. #13 heads were completely redone. New Edelbrock carb and new ram air exhaust manifolds. It has a new 2.5" aluminum exhaust by Pypes. X pipe with stainless tips. All brakes, rotors, bearings, and calipers are new with 252 miles on the build. The body was stripped to bare metal and coated in epoxy primer the 2-K. Everything was blocked down 4 times. Finished in jet black and clear PPG. New windshield and door glass. New Stripe kit installed. The interior is all new including seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner. Dash is beautiful. Also has 160 mph speedo and 8,000 rpm lath. BF Goodrich tires on restored wheels. This is a true WS6 400 4 Speed Y84 SE Bandit edition car.
