A California car with accompanying documentation to prove it including the broadcast sheet. This is rare California A.I.R. car and all of the equipment is present. That being said the engine has been internally upgraded and I don’t think the horsepower is affected by it. There is documentation on top of documentation on this car. The seller has even give a breakdown of events by year of when items were replaced or restored. This is the most solid Firebird we have come across with virtually no squeaks or rattles when idling or driving. There were upgraded parts from original, the front brakes were upgraded from drums to discs, the engine was rebuilt to accept unleaded fuel. The suspension was upgraded with Hotchkis hollow front sway bar, Edelbrock shocks, and Eaton stock replacement springs. The differential was upgraded with a factory style rebuilt positraction unit. The power steering was upgraded to quick ratio steering box. When the interior was redone Dynamat was used throughout to quiet the ride and insulate the interior.
With everything in this car fully functioning on this car including the factory AC, this would be the car of choice for anyone wanting a fantastic driver/show car or ad a phenomenal car to their collection.
