Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to offer for sale this sharp looking 1960 Ford Econoline Pickup Truck. These original E-Series flat-nose trucks were only built from 1960 to 1967. The Econoline Pickup was a 2-door variation of the 1st Generation Ford and Mercury Econoline 3-dr vans. In the first year of production, 15,000 pickups were made and sold. Its early success led to adoption from competitors including the classic Dodge A100 van and pickup models. This little Econoline has been repainted in a gorgeous custom paint job that pops when in direct sunlight. The graphics are so reminiscent of the late 1960s and early 1970s, and the consistency of the work is really impressive. The drivetrain is special, a 3.8L Supercharged V6 with 4 Speed automatic transmission, pulled from a Thunderbird Super Coupe! This Mid Engine cab mounted V6 lets you hear a supercharged whine inside the cab, how cool! This modern EFI drivetrain makes for a great driving combo in this truck. The body has also been refurbished. Inside the interior has been kept very basic with a set of black bucket seats and a rubber mat versus carpet for easy cleaning. The bed of this Econoline truck has a nice coat of black paint to protect the bed. Giving this truck just a tad of flash is a new set of Alloy wheels with Radial tires. This Econoline has just the right stance and will be right at home going on cruises or hauling the goods when necessary. It would even make for a cool business/work vehicle, just add your business logo! This 1960 Ford Econoline Pickup can be seen by our DFW Showroom, or for more detailed information including over 100 HD photos and an HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call to speak with one of our friendly and knowledgeable sales staff @ 817-310-9400.
