Vinyl InteriorFor sale in our Dallas showroom is a nicely customized 1968 Chevrolet El Camino. A nicely done two tone red and black paint job is the biggest visual attraction. The dark red metallic paint contrasts nicely against the black paint. The chrome American Racing Torque Thrust M wheels are a perfect accessory for this build. The wheels measure 20 inches on the front and 22 inches on the rear. The engine is a Chevrolet Vortech 350 so you know there is some power lurking under the hood. Mated to the 350 is a four speed automatic transmission ready for the cruise nights. The exhaust is handled through long tube headers, 2.5 inch exhaust pipes into Flowmaster mufflers. The interior was custom upholstered to match the exterior. The bench seat was covered in a black vinyl with read velour inserts. The aluminum steering wheel with woodgrain grip is a throwback to the original. A custom stereo was added which includes the head unit with cd, am/fm, usb, and auxiliary inputs. There is an amplifier and a subwoofer mounted behind the driver seat to give that stereo that added punch that so many desire.
