1956 Ford Victoria

Up for sale in our Dallas showroom is one sweet, and original ride, the 1956 Ford Victoria. Built for the sole purpose to compete in a declining market being dominated by the Chevrolet Bel Air, Ford sat down to design something new. By changing the outside appearance slightly, and increasing technology by adding in a new 12 volt ignition system, the new Ford line began to bring something back to the market that most manufacturers couldn't do. During the 1956 model year, Ford had also introduced a larger 4-door version called the "Town Victoria" to incorporate the need for more passengers and longer drives. Also introduced during this change was the conversion from the old Flathead V8 to the new 312 Y-Block engine, built to be stronger, and more reliable than the original style. Mated up to this engine is the classic 2-speed automatic, which makes driving an absolute ease, just drop the shifter into Drive, and enjoy the ride. Of course this engine had been recently rebuilt only 17,661 miles ago. The interior was very tastefully restored in a beautiful orange and white vinyl bench seat, which matches the overall look of the vehicle, including the very stylish but simple dashboard. The exterior is as straight and beautiful as the interior, also painted to match the interior, a beautiful Orange and White two-tone paint job with the perfect splash of chrome throughout. To complete the look the 1956 Victoria comes equipped with wire hubcaps, wrapped in a beautiful set of wide what wall tires.
