Now For Sale in our Dallas Showroom, a 1969 Pontiac Firebird Restomod.

Yeah, this 1969 Firebird is a nasty piece, but you already figured that out, didn't you? With a thundering recently built fire breathing 468 cubic inch V8 under the pointed hood, paint that belongs on a show circuit, and an interior with a few extra tricks, this is the Pontiac that will make you the star of the show everywhere you go.

Prior to its transformation, this was just a mild-mannered Firebird with a wheezing 2-barrel carb, minimal, and an inoffensive color scheme. Yeah, that all had to go, and instead it got stripped to the bone and rebuilt, starting with giving it a predatory look. The original finish was replaced by the drop-dead-gorgeous anthracite gray finish that's simply incredible by any measure. The original twin-nostril hood, which can look silly on anything that isn't running a nasty V8 underneath, gives this particular Firebird an outrageously sinister look and emphasizes the pointed snout that made Pontiac famous in the '60s. It's also nice to see that it wasn't given the faux Trans Am look and the chrome snout looks especially good against the gray paint. They also skipped the spoilers, giving this F-body a super clean, sleek look, but those trick Firebird-shaped side marker lights were retained. You want a badass car that looks the part, you'll not find one nastier than this.

For serious driving, it's hard to argue against a set of bucket seats flanking a center console. There are a number of upgrades, however, including a very cool billet steering wheel in the shape of the Firebird logo, and a shiny tilt steering column underneath it. The original dashboard remains, but is now stuffed full of Dakota Digital instruments which are surrounded by engine-turned appliques that look suitably racy. The original center console was painted to match the bodywork and houses a trick Lokar shifter for the automatic transmission underneath, topped by a billet knob that works well with the other shiny bits inside. This sucker definitely has attitude! You should probably think about replacing the radio, which is pretty out of date, but that's the only thing needing upgrades inside. You'll also find a new Vintage Air A/C system neatly installed in the original location, so it has a very clean OEM look. The trunk is perhaps the least outrageous part of the car, offering only a stock mat.

The only engine you want in your '69 Firebird is a built Eagle forged internals with Forged crank, pistons and rods, as well as hardenend pushrods, this 468 cubic inch V8, with documentaion, hauls ass! This motor was rebuilt less than 200 miles ago by True Street Motorsports in Mckinney TX. It's beautifully dressed, wearing bright red engine enamel, that outrageous polished aluminum intake system, a set of chrome valve covers, and a billet serpentine belt accessory setup. For horsepower, there's a polished Edelbrock intake manifold and a big Holley Ultra Street Avenger carb that gives it lightning-quick throttle response. It's potent but docile on the street, and with a massive aluminum radiator and twin electric fans, it always keeps its cool. The rebuilt TH400 3-speed automatic transmission is virtually bulletproof and powers a nicely detailed 10-bolt rear end. Long-tube headers dump into a custom dual exhaust with an X-pipe and Magnaflow mufflers, so this thing sounds great at idle and positively insane at full bore. The rear suspension is augmented with track bars and coil-over shocks, while the front end gets a set of tubular control arms to sharpen up handling. Oh, and there's Wilwood power disc brake at all for corners, just in case. Staggered 17-inch Foose wheels are fitted with 235/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear performance radials.

Outrageous to look at and a blast to drive, this well-sorted and fully developed resto-mod kicks in the door and becomes the life of the party everywhere it goes. Call today!
