The Muscle Car that started it all, sealing it's place in history on America's streets & drag strips, made famous even further by Jan & Dean's Little GTO record. It was born a REAL GTO, and had tri-power & 4-speed from the factory per the PHS docs.
This beautiful GTO is in great condition. The original 389 is long gone like most; it now has a powerful '72 400 with later 6X heads, lots of goodies inside, rebuilt just 2000 miles ago! It's connected to a Richmond 6-speed manual transmission, making highway cruising a lot more tolerable and economical. Features include power steering, power brakes, seat belts, aftermarket A/C, AM/FM Radio, 15" Cragar SS Wheels, BF Goodrich Radial T/A's, aluminum HD radiator, and wood steering wheel.
Per the Seller, this car was soda blasted then repainted in its original factory Grenadier Red. The parchment interior was redone as well. This one was built at the Fremont, CA Plant. The body, paint, interior, glass, chrome, moldings and trim all look great. This 'lil GTO represents! It runs excellent and drives out 100%. The Seller is providing the Pontiac Historical Services report showing it's the real deal, not a clone as well as additional restoration documentation.
