Their older models were so popular to American Soldiers during and after the war that MG decided to make a left-hand driving MG for the American people and they did not disappoint. MG produced their T-Type cars from the mid-1930s until the mid-1950s. The TD was one of the most modern of the T-Types, but all were quite sparse on equipment. These were purpose built, no frills, sports cars. The cars used a simple body on frame construction as well as a basic front engine, rear drive configuration which Driving Enthusiasts Love.
