The Balaro red ’67 Rat Chevelle is showing a little less than 1000 miles since the complete frame off rotisserie restoration. The process began when the body and chassis were separated; while the frame and chassis were being media blasted and painted, the body was sent to be chemically dipped and was placed on the rotisserie to inspect, weld and replace any needed metal. At the same time, brand new suspension, front disc brake and rear drum brakes, new brake and fuel lines were installed. To get good cruising speed on the road, the rear axle was rebuilt and received 3.55 ratio gearing. Powering this Chevelle for sale is a date code correct 1967 396 V8. The engine was built around that block, with the machining completed by the local Chevy hot rod shop. A complete roller cam, lifters, and rockers system from Comp Cams was installed using a Thumper cam. Edelbrok aluminum heads, Sanderson headers, a Holley Street Avenger carburetor, and electric ignition were also installed.
