The popularity of the Grand National peaked by 1987, and this car is one of the 20,740 built for the model year.
A 4.9 second 0-60 run back then was VERY respectable; these cars pull like an old big block muscle car. All Grand Nationals were painted in Black and this one comes with Gray cloth interior too. Powered by the famous 3.8l Turbocharged Sequential Fuel Injected V6 engine: an intercooler for the Turbo was added in '86 along with a two-piece aluminum intake manifold that increased airflow by 10%. The result was 245hp and 355lb ft of torque from the factory. This 1987 Buick Grand National has a 4" cold air intake with LS1 MAF + Translator, Scanmaster + Boost Gauge, Switch panel, 3" downpipe + exhaust, Intercooler, 60 lb Flow matched injectors, a Performance Chip programmed by Turbo Tweak, High volume oil pump, fuel pump kit, hot wire kit, Replaced motor mounts , body bushings, sway bar bushings, Boost Controller and Power Plate made by RJC Racing, and more. This gorgeous 1987 Buick Grand National is sure to be a hit with collectors and Grand National enthusiasts alike.
