The 380SL's ran from 1981-1985, later being replaced with 560SL. The SL's are really fun to drive and offer the quality only Mercedes could provide. They are solid, well built cars and offer a lot of class even today. TV's 'Hart To Hart" featured a same-body style 450SL, enhancing the appeal of these cars.
The exterior of this one is still presentable from a short distance and may buff out for a better appearance. Per the owner, the interior has had considerable restoration, including seat pads, covers, carpets, window switches, hard top seals, head & arm rests, wood shift knob & and steering wheel.
Other major maintenance per the owner included rebuilding the transmission, AC module, radio, AC compressor, engine (60K on engine) shocks, alignment, battery, and more. A long list of work was provided by the owner.
