1969 Pontiac Lemans

Here is a nice one for you, Pontiac fans! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is happy to present this far-out 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge tribute! This sharp Pontiac started life as a Lemans Sport Coupe (3737 vin) and has been transformed into one of THE MOST iconic muscle cars of all time. "Here Comes the Judge"- a phrase borrowed from TV's "Laugh in" TV show back in the day. Pontiac took it from there, with the intent of competing with Plymouth's Road Runner. And for 3 years, Pontiac built The Judge as the top option on the base GTO's, in very limited numbers. The rest is history.

The exterior of this tribute is sprayed in the highly desirable Carousel Red, which is a groovy orange shade. (Chrysler did not have all the fun with colors back then!) The correct ‘69 spoiler, Endura nose, Judge stripes & decals were added, as well as a set of awesome resto-mod version of Pontiac's rally II wheels. The Pontiac hood tack seals the deal. The paint has a smooth gloss to it, and overall is quite nice. It looks just like a real Judge; only Pontiac fans would note the absence of the functional Ram Air parts. Easily added if one wanted it. The hide-a-way headlamps were an option, on GTO's & Judges.

Under the hood you will find Pontiac's verdict-rendering 400 (code YS) with aftermarket air conditioning and upgraded radiator. It starts, runs, sounds and drives very nicely.

The parchment & black interior is a great accent to the body color and is in very good condition. The molded dash covering renews the look, and the air conditioning feels great. Roll down all the windows, set your tunes, and GO! It even features Bluetooth. This car can be had for half of what an equivalent factory GTO Judge would run you, which continue to go up in value when this nice & better. You can have fun with this one, without worrying about driving around an ultra-high value factory one.
