This SS is powered by a 1971 Chevrolet 396cid V8 that is perfect for this car. This powerful 396 is mated to a smooth shifting Muncie M22, 4-speed transmission. This is backed by a 12-bolt rear end. The transmission was freshly rebuilt about 1,400 miles ago. Work done to this Chevelle by the current owner includes main gaskets and seals being replaced, ignition replaced, radial tires replaced, carburetor replaced, electric choke installed, and a rear air shock kit installed. It is clearly evident that this car was babied. This beast even has air conditioning that blows ice cold.
Just like the undercarriage of this Chevy, the inside of this car is as clean as they come. The black with chrome interior looks flawless. Extra wide radial tires wrap around the deep-dish rally wheels this SS wears. Even the exhaust sounds just as good as it looks. All of the chrome on this Chevelle is in excellent shape.
