A lot happened in 1936. The first superhero to wear a skin-tight costume and mask, The Phantom, makes his first appearance in U.S. newspapers. Construction of Hoover Dam is completed. The Green Hornet radio show debuts. Gone with the Wind is first published in the United States. A few notable people were born such as, Buddy Holly, Mary Tyler Moore, Burt Reynolds, John Madden, Roy Orbison, Ruth Buzzi, Yves Saint Laurent and this amazing 1936 Packard was also born.

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this show-stopping classic. This is a 1936 Packard 120. Packard produced the 120 from 1935 to 1937 in their first run. This Packard is special in that this sedan is also a convertible! This was one of their more expensive models at $1,395 among other sedans and a club coupe.

This beauty is in excellent condition all the way around. Not only is it in fantastic cosmetic condition but it drives beautifully as well. Powered by a rebuilt L head inline 8 engine, this 120 produced approximately 110bhp from the factory. This Packard received a frame off restoration that looks as though it was born yesterday. The blue paint on this Packard is in excellent condition. All body panels line up flush and straight. The numbers matching engine is just as clean as the exterior on this one. All of the glass on this Packard is virtually flawless. This Packard rides on four whitewall Firestone tires. The chrome on this 120 has outstanding luster and looks like new. The back seat of this Packard is spacious and has armrests. The luggage compartment in the rear is pristine.

Perfect for a collector or someone looking to have a piece of history, this Packard will only appreciate over the years. Drive off in this true classic today!

Features on this Packard include AM radio, manual convertible top, leather interior, kill switch, and white wall tires.
