By 1970 the Chevelle had made its mark on the American people by being named the best-selling mid-size car in America. Though most were powered by a lesser V8 or even an inline 6, the SS nameplate bumped this vehicle up to a much more potent V8, but not as mean as this powerhouse. Some people crave more power and want to take things to another level entirely. That said, the factory motor in this car was replaced with a 400 CID Engine Dynoed at 596 Horse Power and includes a Callies Stealth 54 cpp Crank, Ross HC Pistons, Weldtech Heads 3036, Solid Lift Cam, 4150 Holly Carb, FB Performance Transmission w/3000 stall converter # 4STB Transmission with Trans Brake and Over Drive.
Furthermore, this beauty was a Frame-Off Restoration and includes but is not limited to: 4 wheel disc brakes, complete SPC suspension, Vari Shocks front and rear, 4 link rear suspension, Hydratech braking system, dual fan aluminum radiator with separate trans cooler and fan, dual rear batteries, stainless steel fuel tank, stainless headers with auto exhaust dumps, caron fiber drive shaft, MSD digital 6 ignition with Pro Billet distributor, performance steering gear box, custom built carburetor by Dyno Shop and Billet Specialties Wheels.
