1965 AC Cobra

NOW FOR SALE at our Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is this 1965 AC Cobra replica from Superformance. This is #19 of 50 produced from the company in this special tenth anniversary Diamond Edition. This version of the MKIII Cobra was produced to celebrate Superformance’s 10th anniversary. It was made in two individual colors of which this one is the Dark Silver with silver stripes and red bordering pin stripes. These cars came standard with side pipes, twin fender mirrors, full bumper decorations, glove box and an engraved polished aluminum shift knob. The seats are embroidered with “Tenth Anniversary Diamond Edition” on the backrests and on the sides of the soft top and a commemorative plate on the dashboard with the car number on. The build quality of this car is beautiful and no detail has been spared.

This car is equipped with a Dart Racing 302 CID V8 block that has been built up with a 331 CID stroker kit. Power goes through a built 5-speed manual transmission that can handle the power. With the Weiand supercharger at 18psi and methanol injection this rocket makes 723hp and 650 ft lbs. The engine has all of the necessary complimenting components for the additional power including electronic ignition, high flow water pump, oversized radiator, oil cooler, trans cooler, & more. The car also features a full 1200 watt stereo with Bluetooth CD player head unit with several midrange speakers pumping tunes through while you are cruising. Leather on the door panels sets this one apart as well.

The car has 17,000 miles on it and the engine & trans have about 1500 miles on it since they were installed. The car has been owned by its current owner for about 5 years and is on its 3rd total owner. It has been lovingly cared for since new. Everything works on the car as intended. Inside the car you will find original styled instruments made by Smiths of England. There have been many Cobra replicas made in the past but this is a very special one.
