1947 International Harvester Pickup

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this very cool 1947 International pickup truck. This truck has a unique restomod vibe to it that really sets itself apart from the crowd!

Under the hood of this beauty is a Chevrolet small block 350 CID V8 that was rebuilt roughly 10,000 miles ago by TLC Restorations. The rebuild allows that big V8 to run smoothly and provide plenty of power for a spirited drive or to comfortably cruise at highway speeds. Sending the power to the rear end is a 700R4 four-speed transmission that was also rebuilt at the same time as the engine by TLC Restorations. When it comes time to slow this big truck down, the driver will definitely appreciate the disc brake conversion all around. Disc brakes allow for smoother and more powerfull stopping capabilities. Disc brakes are also much simpler and cheaper to service.

Moving outward, the exterior of this beauty is finished in an eye-catching yellow paint that has a nice depth and shine to it. The bed wood is in good condition overall with minor scratches and scuffs that show that this truck is capible of being used as it was originally intended back in the 40's. Supporting each corner of this beauty are alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires with decent tread life left in them. Overall, this truck is a pretty good driver quality that is capible of being both a weekend show truck and a practical utility vehicle.

Upon entering the cab, the driver will notice the comfortable black vinyl seats that provide decent leg and back room. Below the seats is a dark red carpet that accents the yellow paint well. The door panels are also finished with a material in that same color. The paint matched dash features an AM/FM radio along with a CD player for listening to your favorite driving music. Along with the original speedo, the dash also featurs an aftermarket tach to keep an eye on the engine revolutions during spirited driving. Overall, this truck runs well and will make an excellent weekend toy for the new owner!
