Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a gorgeously customized 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air. The Chevrolet Bel Air was a full-size automobile that was produced by Chevrolet for the 1950–1981 model years. Initially only the two door Hardtops in the Chevrolet model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950 to 1952, as distinct from the Styleline and Fleetline models for the remainder of the range. With the 1953 model year the Bel Air name was changed from a designation for a unique body shape to a premium level of trim applied across a number of body styles. The Bel Air nameplate is dominated by the 1955-1957 models but this Bel Air is standing its ground and makes a great example for the 53’ model year. This Chevy is not all show, it is powered by the famous LS1 350 C.I.D V8 that sounds really great and shifted by a 4 speed automatic transmission. For the show part, this Bel Air is sporting a gorgeous coat of ruby red paint with a red and white leather interior that looks really great on this Chevrolet. Also equipped is a fully adjustable air ride suspension supplied by Air Ride Technologies. Overall this beauty looks stunning going down the road, from the chrome steel wheels wrapped in white walls to the ruby red paint with white accented graphics down the side everything just flows together. The options on this Bel Air include: air conditioning, bias ply tires, power brakes, power steering, seat belts and a leather interior.
