The Chevrolet Deluxe coupe for sale was a trim line of Chevrolet automobiles, marketed from 1941 to 1952, and was the volume sales leader for the marquee during the 1940s. The line included, at first a 4-door sedan, but grew to include a fastback 2-door "aero sedan" for sale you see here. 1942 models got blackout trim in January. The Signal-Seeking radio became an option. On February 1, 1942, civilian automobile production halted for war production. Now normally you would seen this in a mild color with alot of chrome, as you can tell, different motive on this one. The chassis is decked out with a Mustang II independent front suspension. Accompanying the updated front end and replacing the old beat up drums are fresh disk brake. A 9" Ford rear helps keep the power coming out of 305ci v8 planted to the ground. Backing that is a turbo 350 3 speed automatic transmission. Lathered in sun grape metallic purple it makes for a true head turner. The interior is wrapped sun grape purple leather with cloth inserts and completely decked out and ready for a road trip. This gorgeous 10 year old frame off build is a real looker and is turn key ready to rock and roll!
