The 396 cubic inch motor mates to the T.H.400 Automatic transmission put to the ground by a 12 bolt rear end with moderate gearing. Having just over 10,000(undocumented) miles since the engine was rebuilt (by previous owner) and just 3500 documented miles on the transmission rebuild, this El Camino can quickly shift through gears while roaring by or idle with a noticeable lope from its custom ground cam. Known for their utility, El Caminos are ready for your next adventure without enough bed space and horsepower on tap to put a smile on your face. This true SS El Camino is also equipped with power steering, power brakes, a cold r134A A/C system and a long list of newly replaced items including the Edelbrock carb, radiator, alternator, fuel pump, water pump and ball joints, just list a few of the newer items. There is a complete folder of all the work and items replaced or upgraded that will come with the vehicle.
