This Model T has the original engine and transmission in it from 1926 which includes the 4 cylinder engine and 2-speed transmission. Since it was rebuilt it has covered only 500 miles and has been extremely well cared for throughout it’s ownership. It was repainted about 8 years ago and it still looks awesome. It is finished in a beautiful black color and has a lovely gray cloth interior. It has the upgrade option of wood spoke wheels and a 5th one for the spare. It sits on classic style bias ply tires. This one looks like it has the original body panels! In 1926 Ford made 1,554,465 Model T vehicles which was extremely impressive for this early production year. 1926 through 1927 was the release of the T5 Model T which brought in the design change that made greatest difference in the appearance of the car. The hood was again enlarged with the cowl panel np longer a compound curve and blended much more with the line of the hood. The distance between the firewall and the windshield was also increased massively. This style is often referred to as the high hood.
