1962 Chevrolet Impala

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1962 Chevrolet Impala SS Tribute. The 1962 model was the first to feature the new “C” pillar styling which proved extremely popular, and contributed to the desirability of the 1962–1964 Impalas as collectibles. Also, the Beach Boys released a song “409” referring to this Chevrolet making it the cars iconic and memorable song for the many years that followed. This beautifully restored Impala is representing the legacy very well and is in amazing condition. Starting on the exterior, you will find a beautifully done triple black paint job with a chrome and scaled metal stripe down the side. The exterior trim, features, and bumpers are in great condition. Powering this beautiful beast is a rebuilt 409 CID V8 that is completely chromed out from the valve covers & intake. The motor also features dual Edelbrock carburetors feeding the fuel to this thirsty monster with less than 1,000 miles since rebuild. The motor runs strong and loud that will make any car fanatic drool over it. All of this is power is put down to the ground through the 4-speed transmission with a 3:70 geared rear end to allow that nice comfortable cruise down the highway. This Impala sits on some very nice BOYDS 20 inch wheels with practically new tires. Moving your eyes towards the completely custom interior you will find all new plush tan leather seats that flow nicely with the convertible top and custom dash. The dash is filled with the newer modern style digital gauge cluster making for a clean and sleek appearance. Feel free to enjoy the ride while listening to that “409” song through the Kenwood speaker system installed throughout the car. Then moving from the front all the way to the back of this black beauty you will find a very large and spacious trunk. It has been completely restored and large enough to host your next hot tub party in it. Other notable features on the car are AC (blows cold!!), AM/FM/CD player radio, powered convertible top that goes up & down with ease, power brakes, power steering, power windows, tilt steering wheel, leather interior, & custom wheels.
