The most recognizable cosmetic feature on these beauties is the “screaming chicken" on the hood that everyone relishes and has become an icon for the Trans Am brand. This 1978 Pontiac Trans Am has been completely revamped. The carburetor on this 400 V8 has been rebuilt. The previous owner had a complete tune up preformed on this 1978 Trans Am to make sure it is perfectly sound mechanically including flushing all fluids, adding new fan clutch, belts, plugs, filter, new oil temperature sending unit, new windshield wiper pump, and new thermostat and hoses. new Flowmaster mufflers have been added to the true dual exhaust. The air conditioning is in complete working order with new AC compressor, condenser and AC temperature switch. The gauges have been rebuilt and include new gauge lights and circuit board. Restorative upgrades have also been made to this Trans Am from the block being painted a cool blue to new lock cylinders, new body bushings, new lights, and new center console. This 1978 Trans Am still has the original build sheet and the previous owner has the receipts for the work completed.
