This 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Split bumper is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The long awaited reveal of the 1970 Camaro was an instant success. Production was delayed all the way until January 5th 1970 which gave the car an actual release date of February 26th 1970. The public must have felt that it was worth the wait since even in the shortened year the new sleeker design sold over 152000 cars. You could have got two different "styles" of the Camaro. The base or original model would have the full bumper while the RS option gave it the "split bumper" look as with many other features. This 70 has had a ton of work done, from the amazing body work to the newer JEGS SBC crate motor this is one nasty little rod. The Copper paint is very slick and with heavy flake showing just how nice the all steel body is. Flip open the hood and the chromed out JEGS crate engine sets nestled away nicely between the frame rails. Pushed back behind the front wheels giving this split bumper a very neutral feel while going through the corners. Mated up to the classic TH350 the drivetrain is one of the most dependable and desirable set ups. Controlled through a B&M shifter that gives you the ability to drive it like a regular auto or bump shifter like in many of your drag cars. Either way the car runs extremely well ad handles even better. Bringing everything down to a screeching Holt is a set of power assisted disc upfront and does the job excellently. The set of custom chrome wheels finish off the exterior and give it that perfect stance. Open the door and the black interior looks great with the two bucket seats upfront giving it the true sports car feel. The diamond pleat centers are a throwback to yesterday but the pattern has made a comeback in the last couple years. With the back bucket seats matching the front ones this interior look like it could have left the factory this way. With the classic wrap around dash making you feel like you're in a fighter jet this is one Camaro you will have nothing but fun driving to the cruise or down the strip. Options on this 1970 Chevrolet Camaro include; AM/FM/CD, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Cloth/Vinyl Interior, and Alloy Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires.
