The one thing that everyone will agree on is a Hotrod is an early American car that has been highly modified to go fast in a straight line. Unlike many of the renditions today, this particular Ford Hot Rod has been kept all Ford. The old adage “built Ford Tough with Chevy Stuff” does not apply in this instance. Sporting a 5.0 liter HO Mustang engine with a T-bird AOD automatic transmission, this all Ford car cruises down the highway in style. A PRC aluminum radiator makes sure the engine stays cool. To keep the driver and passengers comfortable, a Southern Air heating and cooling system has been installed. The front of the Sedan rides on a Pete and Jakes Chrome axle with disc brakes. The rear of the sedan utilizes a Ranger 7.5 rear end with the large drum brakes. A brand new ’55 Ford truck 18 gallon gas tank holds the liquid gold that feeds the healthy 302 (5.0 liters = 302 CID) V-8 engine. The body of this Ford Model A is a combination of Speedway Blue and Honda Silver and has been trimmed out with just the right amount of chrome. The owner has been showing the Model A for the last 6 seasons and now wants to let someone else enjoy this beauty.
