This 1984 Ford Supercab Longbed XLT Lariat is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. This super custom build is one of the slickest F250's I have seen. Starting out with a F250 diesel chassis with 1 ton coils and leaf springs making it one of the stoutest set ups I have seen. With the frame and suspension bare the POR15 coating system was used as well as the bottom of the body and bed making it very corrosion resistant. With the body and cab ready for whatever you can throw at it was going take an engine with just as much mite. The 460 was the natural choice bored out to a 468 this thing is an absolute monster. Oversized intake and exhaust valves, hardened valve seats, and finished off with a port and polish. A COMP cam was matched to an Edelbrock intake and carb to maximize the torque of this big block. The high volume oil pump keeps fresh oil flowing at all times increasing the life of this work horse. With the addition of remote oil and transmission filters maintenance has never been easier. Exhaust is taken care of by L&L large tube headers with Magnaflow stainless steel mufflers giving it just that right growl. The cooling system consist is upgraded as well with an oversized radiator, 2 transmission coolers, and 3 electric fans ensure that this monster will always be running at optimum temp. Open the door and the tan interior looks right at home with all of the seats being reupholstered as well as a new headliner and carpet. The truck is an excellent hauler and with the popularity of these "Rigs" steadily increasing this one off is sure not to last.
