Vinyl Interior1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Sport Coupe. This era specific hot rod was finished in 2003 and looks like it could have been yesterday. It is a factory two tone car painted in a base coat/clear coat Garnet Red Medium Metallic with a Silver Metallic top and all new trim. This vehicle has new emblems, lenses and sports its original glass except for the new tinted windshield. All four bumper guards and the front bumper have been re-chromed and the rear is a new Goodmark item. The underside of this car is highly detailed and painted to match the exterior. It is sitting on 15x7 Torque Thrust II wheels with new BFG TA's and has new rear springs and reconditioned front springs with Edelbrock performance shocks. Under the hood is a beautiful engine compartment housing the 355 engine with 10 to 1 compression, World Products heads, roller rockers, stud guides, Edelbrock Performer intake, Edelbrock 750 carburetor, Comp cam and lifters, MSD-6A box, HEI distributor, Taylor 8mm wires and a high volume oil pump. Keeping that cool is an aluminum water pump and a three core radiator with a factory fan shroud. The details are extensive under the hood with a painted block, power steering pump, A/C compressor, radiator, accessory brackets, brake lines and heater box accented with chrome breather, valve covers, air filter and fan shroud. The motor breathes through coated Hooker headers with dual Flowmaster exhaust exiting at the rear quarters through chrome tips. It has a Mr. Transmission Turbo 350 with a shift kit running to a 10 bolt rear end with 3.33 to 1 and posi gears. The interior is in great shape with white vinyl seats and red carpet, the dash has a set of gauges underneath and a tachometer mounted on the steering column.
