1933 Chevrolet Pickup

For sale is a way cool funky little custom 1933 Chevrolet Pickup Truck located in our Louisville showroom. This is an all steel '33 Chevy Truck that has been tastefully customized and will sure to draw attention wherever it goes. Originally purchase in our Indy showroom a few years ago (stock # 219); this old skool Chevy truck has gone through a complete makeover. This custom 1933 Chevrolet Pickup Truck is still powered by its 327 CID V8 engine, but the Powerglide 2-speed automatic transmission as been replaced with a Turbo Hydramatic 350 3-speed automatic transmission. The Ford 8" rear end gets the power to the ground and has recently been service with a new pinion seal. The rear end has 2.79 gears in it so that this Hot Rod Chevy can cruise the highway with ease. When originally purchased, the 33 Chevy had 12574 miles on the build. The current owners have logged in another 4647 miles themselves. As they stated ‘it’s a driver” and they have really enjoyed it. The small block 327 V8 has been decked out with an aluminum intake, A new 4-barrel Holley carburetor, new polished aluminum valve covers, a new scoop/breather, chrome alternator, and a chrome fan shroud for that hot rod performance look. The exterior of the truck was originally painted in a black and teal paint scheme with pink pin striping separating the two colors, it was a nice fad for its time, but this Street rod needed new skin and ink to keep up with the times. The owners went with Chevrolet Hugger Orange, so that the truck will jump out at you! A beautiful “Street Rod Garage” logo has been has been applied to the doors. There are also a ton of decals indicating the various speed parts use or possibly who one of your racing sponsor’s is. The logos and decals are a nice touch that pay homage to the speed shops of the ‘50’s & 60’s which started the Hot Rodding craze. The interior has been changed to a fresh set of black vinyl bucket seats and black carpeting. The AM/FM radio with cassette player has been updated with an AM/FM streo with CD player. The column shifter has been replaced with a B&M ratchet shifter located on the floor. This classic '33 Chevy Truck still retains the rack and pinion steering with front disc brakes that were added in the original build. A couple of other nice features on this truck are the removable black convertible top, tinted windows, and a nice wood bed. The battery has been relocated to the bed and stored wooden box matching the theme of this Hot Rod Chevy. This '33 Chevy has a mean stance thanks to a staggered set of Cragar SS chrome mag wheels and tires, which have replace the old wire wheel combo. Up front 15" wheels wrapped in 185/60/15 radials and out back are 15" wheels wrapped in beefy 295/50/15 radials. Not only does this truck look awesome, it sounds awesome to!
