Vinyl InteriorGateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to offer this 1978 Dodge W300 Power Wagon Flat Bed Truck The Dodge Power Wagon is a four wheel drive light truck that was produced in various model series from 1945 to 1981 by Dodge, then as a nameplate for the Dodge Ram from 2005 to 2013, and, most recently, as an individual model marketed by Trucks. The original civilian version, commonly called the "flat fender" Power Wagon or FFPW, was based on Dodge's 3/4 ton WC series of World War II military trucks. The civilian Power Wagon continued the Dodge lineage of four wheel drive trucks from the 1930s, proving basic four wheel drive design concepts and representing a significant predecessor to the many four wheel drive trucks in modern use today. Updated variants continued in production until 1980. This Power Wagon was purchased by the original owner in 1978 who use the truck on a small Southern Indiana farm much which explains the extremely low mileage. Unlike many of these old work trucks, this one has been maintained and even garaged kept. The AC even still works and has the original Freon. The bed will also tilt, as originally ordered by the owner, and installed by Salem Trucks. This old work truck was also Ziebarted, which inhibits rust from occurring. There is also access to a ball hitch in the center of the bed, just in case you need to hook up to a goose neck trailer. He unfortunately passed away and the truck was left to the current family. Please note that there is an issue with the headlights, but the current owner has assured Gateway Classic Cars, the issue will be addressed before purchase.
