This factory painted Green with a Black vinyl top 1968 Chevrolet Impala 2 Door Hardtop started life with a 327 CID V8 engine. While the original 327 V8 is an iconic piece, as the old saying goes there is no replacement for displacement! Replacing the 327 is a very healthy fuel injected 496 CID big block engine. This Impala now has tons of torque and horsepower to move this big ol’car down the road. You may want to go on and order your next set of tires, as this car will light the current tires up with ease. A 4L80E 4 speed automatic has also been added to make sure the engine rpm’s are kept down while highway cruising, unless you just get the urge to see what this old girl will do. From the outside the only give away that there may be more under the hood is the cowl inducted hood section that has been grafted on to the original steel hood. Well, there is also a set of quad stainless exhaust tips which gives it away that this car is mean street machine. The Impala also has Air Conditioning, so it is a pleasure to ride in even on the hottest of summer days. Inside the interior looks just as the day it rolled out of the factory. Everything looks stock with the exception of a set of aftermarket gauges.
