Powered by it's original 302 V8 engine and 3 speed manual transmission, these 4x4s were made to go anywhere! Built to compete with the Jeeps and International Scouts of the day, these generally were stripped down and meant to be true sport utility vehicles. This one keeps that thought in mind, while adding modern creature comforts like A/C (needs receiver/dryer), power steering, seat belts, Kenwood AM/FM/CD player with remote, aluminum alloy wheels, and all terrain tires. You can take the top off and cruise and not worry about your possessions with the Tuffy Security locking glovebox, Tuffy locking center console, where the radio is also stored safely, and Tuffy 6x9 speaker boxes. These 302s were underpowered at just over 200 horespower in 1969, but this one has been helped along with a Holley 4 barrel carburetor sitting on a Weiand aluminum intake, aluminum radiator, flex fan, serpentine belt system, and less restrictive chrome air cleaner. Other new parts include 31x10. 50x15 General Grabber AT tires, aluminum alloy wheels, fender flares, exhaust, fuel pump, wiper motor and motor cover, dash pad, carpet, and more!
