The factory green paint has been professionally repainted using a basecoat/clear coat System. The Black vinyl top is new and with care will last for years to come. The black interior still looks new; even the black carpet is new. Under the hood you will find a completely rebuilt 454 CID V8 that has been mated to a rebuilt Turbo 400 Hydramatic transmission. Only a little bit of chrome is needed as the 454 will draw attention all by itself. A serpentine pulley system has been added to prevent belt slippage and improve the looks. A MSD ignition system has been added to insure the 454 gets plenty of spark. The 454 has a mild cam, for just a bit of grunt but nothing that is obnoxious. The stock 12 bolt rear end gearing has been kept highway friendly, so this Chevelle will cruise around town and the highways with ease. Inside, the interior has been kept simple and clean with only the addition of 3 gauges and a nice B&M ratchet shifter. Depending on which direction you are looking to take, either a super nice dependable driver to hit the local cruises up in, go to work in, or for that Chevelle to take shows and win awards with the overall quality of the restoration, then this Chevelle is an excellent choice.
