Introduced in late 63 and continuing until 77 with models ranging from a 2-door hardtop all the way to a 4-door station wagon. The most popular of the models must be the 68-72 2 door hardtops with its classic lines and wide array of engines. That could be the reason why these cars are still loved by enthusiasts today. This 71 has had a custom paint job laid on giving it one off look. The burgundy paint almost looks like a root beer color when ion the right light. The black vinyl top pays homage to the muscle cars era as that’s what you would see back then. The 18-inch wheels are a nice blend of new and old with the tires providing a much better grip. Under the hood is a relatively healthy 350 that sounds great with a little bit of chrome to dress it up. The aftermarket cam gives it a nice lope when idling but nothing to hurt its drivability. The true dual exhaust has been welded together and gives the car that great sound. The TH350 transmission shifts out nicely with the 10-bolt rear end handling the power outback. Inside the black vinyl interior is in excellent shape with the bench seat reminding you why they called them 6 passenger vehicles.
