1971 Dodge Demon

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1971 Dodge Demon. The Demon nameplate has seen a recent resurrection in the MOPAR line up. The 71 model, like the one you see here, was a repackaged Duster but with a shorter wheel base and premium upgrades. It was a top of the line package with a great look, but the name brought a lot of heat from Christian groups causing the car to have a 2-year run. This example has been redone with the slant 6 pulled and a nasty 360 plopped down in its place. The Edelbrock intake gives the 360 better breathing allowing for a ton more power. The black hood with its nasty dual scoop is sure to strike fear in the hearts of people in front of you. The purple paint is classic 70’s Mopar and is guaranteed to garner a ton of attention. The black stripes are just another part of the Demon package and really help to tie that hood in with the purple paint. Having all original panels this is one of the straightest Mopar’s I have seen. Inside the original style interior is in place with the black vinyl bench seat being nice and comfy. The kick panels have been fitted with an extremely nice pair of Boston acoustic speakers with the rear deck lid being home to the matching 6x9’s. It is true the Demon has been resurrected but it will never be as cool as the original and this 71 proves that.
