This is what a lot of the premium car companies of the time would do including, Lincoln and Packard. After a hiatus of about 24 years from 1941 to 1955 when it would return as the top of the line Imperial lebaron In 1977 the standalone nameplate which was resurrected and applied to five different vehicles to add some nostalgia. This 1985 example is on its second owner and is in remarkable condition for it being 33 years old. The red paint is smooth and shines very well the interior is free of any rips or tears. The top is in just as good condition as the rest of the car. With car only having 73422 miles it still has plenty of life left in the 1.6L Turbo under the hood. The Convertible series like this GEM. Especially since this was the first factory built convertible since 1976.
