Evolving form Nissan's 240 that was already well accepted the 300 was more geared to the sports car market with more emphasis in handling and power output. With only 3 liters of motor to work with the only option would be the introduction to a turbo model something that was still in its early stages. To get the handling the way they want ted the car would have to be rear wheel drive as this red beauty is. The engine is the original Fuel Injected straight 6 that had a naturally aspirated 160 horsepower 200 with the single turbo. Which is plenty to get this little hatchback down the road. The red paint looks great on this car and shows exceptionally well.
