It was because of the times that Ford selected the name, Galaxie, for their newest car at the end of the 50's as to tie in with the allure of the Space Race that had Americans full of wonder. Here we have a 1964 model, the last year of the second generation. What a design, Ford did a nice job with the design. The gorgeous silver paint really shines with this car's bold lines. The rims work well and really set off the stance of this Galaxie; as they should. The black vinyl interior is also in great condition. Under the hood you'll find a 390ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission. She only has 10,000 miles on her since the rebuild. Current owner acquired this sweet ride from a private owner locally in Indiana. Only items of note observed not working are: Reverse lights, temp gauge, the clock and the horn.
