Very few motorcycles have the notoriety and presence of a Harley-Davidson. The Softail design was imagined by Bill Davis and he approached Harley but was turned down so he worked to produce his own bike. When the business failed Harley approached him and bought his patents and tooling and in 1983 for the '84 model year the first Harley-Davidson Softail was introduced to the market. The design is loved by many as it hides the rear suspension components giving it a rigid look from the past. Here we have a '03 model, and an anniversary one at that! 2003 is the 100-year anniversary since Harley was founded. As you walk around the bike you can clearly tell it has been well cared for. With only 8k miles on her that only substantiates that statement! The black and silver color combo goes very well together. Powering her is a 1450cc motor and the rider can change through the 5-speed transmission manually. Current owner has had her for over 9 years, purchased from a showroom in Pennsylvania.
