Power comes from the legendary 5.7-liter LT1 V8, factory rated at 305 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque. Paired with the Borg-Warner T56 6-speed manual transmission, it delivers the kind of direct, driver-focused experience that defined the Trans Am name. The WS6 Ram Air Performance Package added a functional twin-scoop hood, high-flow intake system, and freer-breathing exhaust, improving both performance and sound.

Handling was equally impressive thanks to upgraded suspension tuning, larger sway bars, performance tires, and polished 16-inch alloy wheels. This combination made the WS6 one of the well-balanced American muscle cars of its time - quick, composed, and confident.
