This 1979 Trans Am is finished in metallic gray with a vivid blue hood bird. The current owner states the car retains its original body panels, and the vehicle presents as a solid example overall. Recent updates include new 17-inch wheels and tires that enhance both grip and appearance, along with a new windshield, new seat covers, and new carpet, refreshing the cabin while preserving the classic black interior and its signature machine-turned dash bezel.

Power comes from the original 403ci V8 (per the owner), a torque-rich engine known for its smooth, reliable operation. It's paired to a 400-series automatic transmission that delivers steady and consistent shifting. This Trans Am also features 3.08 posi-traction rear gears, offering balanced acceleration and comfortable highway manners. The posi unit improves traction by powering both rear wheels-especially beneficial during spirited driving or low-traction situations. The TA 6.6 shaker scoop remains in place, channeling cooler air toward the intake for more consistent performance. The odometer shows approximately 83,504 miles.
