When introduced, it created the market niche eventually known as the personal luxury car. This Classic 1955 Ford Thunderbird was completely restored off frame and was completed in 1997. The exterior of this classic T-bird is very clean and has a hard shine, with ivory paint, trimmed in chrome, down to the brilliant shine from the wire wheels. Under the hood you'll find a 1979 351 Windsor V8, turning the 3 speed automatic transmission. Other changes to this 1955 Ford Thunderbird during installation include front disc brakes, and a 12 volt charging system with alternator. For you Thunderbird enthusiasts the port holes in the top were added by the dealership after the factory assembly.
