This 1934 5-Window is a ready to drive show car that was treated to a frame-off restoration in 1994 by D&D chassis of Covington Ohio. This particular 1934 Ford 5-Window Coupe has a 289 cubic inch small block Ford Engine with a mild street cam, aluminum intake with a new Edelbrock carburetor. The engine is painted to match the car, with a new set of headers that has been heat wrapped. The transmission is a Ford C-4 automatic transmission. The C-4 transmission, via a short driveshaft, connects to a Ford Granada rear end, with a set of 3:55 gears in it. The interior has a new look with gray cloth covering everything, and was installed by Lynow’s Upholstery of Brookeville Ohio. Out front is a 3 piece hood that can be lifted from either side, or completely removed to show off the engine. The wheels are chrome Cragar wheels with radial tires. The 1934 Ford rides on a 1934 ford steel frame with Bell 4 inch chrome drop spindles. The power brakes are from a Mustang and consist of front disc with drums in the rear. There is also a battery cut-off switch, located under the passenger seat, which can be used either as a safety precaution or an anti-theft device. There is a remote trunk release in the passenger compartment, as well as hood releases. 1934 5-Window Coupe has auxiliary cooling fans, for the radiator and the transmission cooler, which can be switched on when sitting in those long Hot Rod cruise lines.
