The 1949 Coupe De Ville is strictly a hard top car. Like all '49 Caddies, the top was painted a contrasting color from the body of the car. This was also the 1st year for the new high compression engine that everybody else in the car industry took notice of, and then designed a similar version of. This particular 1949 Cadillac Coupe De Ville is a survivor of a glorious era gone by.
